Here are some pictures of a DIY Dektite installation – exactly how it should not be done.
From the silicone line marks one can clearly see that the flue was pushed upwards, then pulled downwards and turned resulting in the metal flue cutting the Dektite to pieces.The end result of a DIY attempt….
